I would like to introduce myself as a person with extensive substantive knowledge, deeply rooted in values, and full of passion and commitment. Below are 10 points that will help you get to know me better.
Brief profile:
I know Łukasz from his work at Legia Warszawa, where he was a coach and then a coordinator. Łukasz brings things to a higher level. I see a potential in him as a coordinator because, he has been a very active person with lots of professional knowledge. I immediately liked his professionalism, commitment, and coaching skills. Łukasz is an expert in football tactics and analysis. He also did a great job as an organiser and a leader. I believe that you don't often come across such persons and that is why I am pulling for his success.
Łukasz is an extraordinary person with whom I had the pleasure of working in business. Together, we created various companies, including the Football Conference project, which became one of the most important training conferences in Poland. For 10 editions, we gathered thousands of participants and cooperated with dozens of speakers and companies. Łukasz is an honest, valuable and trustworthy business partner. His determination and ability to achieve goals are extremely inspiring.
I have been working with Łukasz for several months at the Legia Warszawa Football Academy. During this time, he has become known as a person with a high level of commitment and accuracy in everything he does. What is commendable about the analytical and coaching work he does is the high level of communication that Łukasz can be proud of. Yet another aspect proving his class as a coach and a human being is his constant willingness to develop. This is a skill of outstanding coaches
As an “Assistant Coach”, we have been co-operating with Łukasz Pachelski in the capacity of an “Assistant Coach” for many years. Always, during our joint activities, he has acted as a professional, perfectly prepared for the tasks he deals with. Łukasz is characterised by excellent substantive and organisational preparation at all times. In conclusion, we definitely recommend Łukasz and co-operation with him!
As a Director, I have worked for 3 years with Lukasz in Legia Warsaw, the biggest club in Poland. At the beginning as a coach and later as coordinator of the Analyze Department. During this time he showed professionality, curiosity for innovations, loyalty, huge engagement, willingness to develop himself and a lecturer with good communication skills.
Thanks to the cooperation with Coach Pachelski, we managed not only to develop a value model that integrated the team mentally, to get promoted to a higher competition class, but we also managed to improve the quality of the organisation of the entire club, the team and the coaching staff, the tactical preparation and to enter a higher professional level.
For several years, I have had the honor of managing the Training Analysis Department at the Legia Warsaw Academy. One of our regular activities is organizing Training Sessions and Open Days, which take place twice a year. During this event, we open the doors of our Academy and share our daily work with a broader community. For participants, it is not only an opportunity to learn about our operations but also to experience the atmosphere and dynamism that drives us.
How to effectively implement acquired knowledge into practice when working with athletes?
I am convinced by the concept of LEARNING BY DOING. This idea focuses on practical experience as the primary mode of learning. How can one fully utilize this concept in the context of sports management within an Academy?
To convince others to take on a challenge, we need more than just words.
The most effective way to inspire others is through LEADING BY EXAMPLE.
Are you wondering how to best assess your team's progress and whether you've succeeded in developing in areas crucial to your Team or Academy?
The answer to monitoring progress and achieving goals effectively is Long-Term Analysis.
What is microdosing? What does it look like in practice? Where is the best place to conduct it, and does it require a lot of preparation time?
One thing is certain - microdosing has a significant impact on players. It is a quick, concise, and effective - what more could one want?
In one of the podcasts I heard a question that deeply inspired me: WHY SHOULD ANYONE FOLLOW YOU? This question really made me think deeply. Lately, I've been thinking about how much attention I pay to the people around me and how much I focus on myself. This question from the podcast was a trigger for me to think about my priorities.
I had the opportunity to be a speaker at the Chemik Bydgoszcz club, representing the Legia Warsaw Academy. This time we focused on the Principles of the Game - especially the second Principle, the offensive assurance (2 FGA).
I've started a new phase of learning at the Legia Sport Business Program, where I'm gaining valuable experience from leaders in sports and business. In the last session, speakers Tomasz Zahorski, Dariusz Mioduski, Jeremy Cottino, Jagoda Zakrzewska, and Michal Kanarkiewicz, shared their knowledge on STRATEGY IN BUSINESS.
In the last match of the Poland U-20 National Team, we expected many long passes from the opponent, and the main area of work with the defenders was defending against this element.
The boundary between victory and defeat is remarkably delicate and fine. A prime example of this could be the situation of Legia Warsaw in 2023.
Focusing on the roots rather than the fruits is a crucial approach not only in the garden but also in sports and life. We often fixate on the end results, on how gloriously the fruits of triumph appear, yet we forget that it's the diligently nurtured roots that form the foundation and source of that success.
As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, one of my main tasks with the Polish national team, as well as in the past season with the second team of Legia Warsaw, was coaching central defenders.
I primarily focused on their defensive behaviors. In the upcoming posts, I'd like to share with you the key principles of playing in this position that I emphasized to the players. This initiative gives rise to the series 'Tactics with Pachelski', where I will regularly analyze selected aspects of the game.
After winning the Mazovian Polish Cup by our team, I would like to share with you an inspiring definition of success from the legendary coach John Wooden, known as the Coach of All Time.
Whether I'm running a team or operating in an organisation, I start my work by setting the values that we will follow. In one of the interviews you can see below, I talk about the values we should represent at the club. This was an important part of the message directed not only at the fans, but also at the players. It is important to create these values collectively so that they knit the team together.
In the Polish national team last season, one of my tasks was to work with the central defenders. I focused mainly on the defensive phase, as this was what the team needed because of the opponents. We also decided with the staff that this would be the main phase we put emphasis on.
The basis of working with a team is getting to know the people we work with. By this I mean not only the players but also the coaching staff..
